GASB 84 – District

If you are wanting to track and run reports in compliance with GASB Statement No. 84 for your school sites, you will need to follow the steps below.

Login to your District’s ASBWorks account at ws0.asbworks.com

Inside of the “Admin” tab you will select “Our School”

Off to the left, you will select GASB 84 Codes

You will land on Fund. If you choose to collect this information you will need to “Add Fund” at the bottom of the screen. You will use the “Segment Name” drop down to toggle through the different fields you may collect. Go through and add the different account codes you are wanting to collect from the sites. This will be options for the sites to use when performing transactions.

When sites perform transactions, they will be required to fill out the string of codes validated to the codes you have provided them to use. Throughout the year you will be able to report on all Segment possibilities and options including individual school site as well as consolidated reporting (District wide).
