Status Tags and Limiters

Status tags and limiters provide the ability to build a tag, place a tag on an item and then upload the list of students whom you would like to have this tag. This “status” tag will limit item purchases

1.       Build the status tag in tag admin – or directly from the Status section of Individuals.

1.       Prepare file for import

File should contain:

          Student ID, Last Name, First Name

Saved as a .CSV (comma delimited) file

 

1.       Go to Admin

1. Go to Individuals

2. Click on the Statuses tab

3. Select the tag you created

4. Click the update button

5. Choose the file

6. Start the import

 

Once the file is uploaded, you will see the list of students with that tag.

1.       Set the limiter with your newly created tag

a.       Go to Admin

b.       Click on item

c.       Click on Sales Info tab

d.       Click on limiters

e.       Select which type of status you need, restricted or required

f.        Click OK to exit that screen and change to save

 

 

 

This is the restriction message that appears if you use the restricted value
