Invoices
Invoice Entry: This option allows users to track invoices from Vendors. Invoices can be created from scratch or an existing PO may be pulled onto an invoice for payment. It will warn users if an invoice number has already been saved in the system. Also, see the Invoice Report.
Creating a New Invoice:
1.Enter Vendor name Invoice is for.
2.The PO lookup box will appear with POs associated with that Vendor or that have been issued to Other or Individuals (aka Open POs). Choose applicable PO(s) to pull onto the invoice or enter invoice information into the data fields and click the Add button.
3.Enter the invoice number. The system will warn you, and not allow you to save if the invoice number has previously been used. Edit the date if needed.
4.Enter a memo for the invoice that will appear on reports.
5.Click Save.
Note: Previous button will scroll back through invoices. Find allows lookup of saved invoices.
If PO(s) have a remaining amount once invoice is saved, system will prompt to close them if desired.
