Keying a Credit Card into the Magtek Card Reader

 

Follow the instructions below:

1.Select “pay by card”

 

1.Enter amount to be charged

 

1.Select “credit” on the Magtek reader

 

1.Select the “arrow down (green)” key on the Magtek reader

 

1.Enter the credit card number on the Magtek reader then press the “green” buton on the Magtek reader

 

1.Enter expiration date as asked on the screen, then press the “green” button on the Magtek reader

 

1.Enter CVV code as asked on the screen, then press the “green” button on the Magtek reader

 

 

1.You will see a “transaction complete” on the keypad

 

1.Enter the zip code on the Point of Sale screen

 

 

1.The system will say the CVV Code does not match, do you want to void? You say NO

1.The transaction processes and you may click finish
