Connecting the PAX D210 mobile credit card reader to Point of Sale

PAX D210 machine is a portable device. You may charge the battery and then take it with you where there is internet connectivity. There is a connection process you will go through to ensure connectivity.

When using PAX D210 card reader with Gray Step Point of Sale, a connection process must go as follows:

1.Connect the credit card reader to Gray Step Point of Sale by entering the setup window on the Point of Sale, selecting the card reader “Pace” and entering the serial number of the machine. The serial number is on found the back of the card reader as shown here:

•Once you have connected the card reader to Gray Step Point of Sale, you will then need to connect the card reader to the WIFI.

a.Power on the device. You will see a list of WIFI points to access. You will select the corresponding number for your site.

b.Next the machine will prompt you for

the WIFI password, you will enter the

site WIFI password.

a.Once the password is entered, you

will see the machine is connecting.

You will then see the device has connected. Press any key to continue. You will then receive a notification screen to start. This means you are ready to accept payment.
